Kids are the heart and soul of LankyBox

Justin and Adam started filming videos on Youtube for fun and now they’re the most highly viewed gaming channel on YouTube for Kids. This success has allowed them to create the LankyBox Shop selling apparel and toys of their characters Foxy, Boxy, and Rocky + more. No longer wanting their faces to be the focus of the brand, LankyBox wanted to shift their brand into something new and fresh. In partnership with Juniper Creates we developed a brand refresh to showcase the biggest fans of their show - full of life and energetic kids.

Breaking down
the Strategy

The Problem

We were tasked with two objectives:
1. Grow LankyBox Shop outside of the duo, Justin and Adam.
2. Create brand legitimacy in the rise of product counterfeits in Amazon. 

The Solution

Bring the spirit of a child’s imagination into the campaign. The demographic of viewers range from 6-10 years old so we wanted to do just that. The energy was fun and playful and on set - the kid’s ruled the room.

The Result

The photography completely revamped the online website and Amazon Storefront. Parents can now identify the official LankyBox products with the updated high quality images amongst counterfeits. And, Children can see kids like them enjoy the fun products through the new brand refresh.

Life is a playground

The set was a blank canvas - we wanted the products and toys to stand out with the colourful props. This became a playground for the kids with no limits to their imagination. They jumped, played, and tossed their toys in the air.

The world of LankyBox

We leveraged the charm of the LankyBox characters and used their cardboard box costumes as the overall idea of the set design. The TV box also represented the YouTube world in which the characters existed in. It was the amalgamation of the 2D characters merging with real life play.
